Balarama is Krishna’s elder brother, white where Krishna is dark, carrying a plough, and in the theology he is the first expansion of the Lord and the source of all service. In Vrindavan the two of them herd the cows together, and the deities worshipped at ISKCON’s Vrindavan temple are Krishna and Balarama. Where Krishna is charming, Balarama is strong and slightly hot-tempered, and the pair of them together is the shop’s most affectionate double portrait.
The collection includes canvas wall art, wall tapestries, all-over print hoodies and microfleece zip-ups, laptop sleeves and the Krishna Balarama maha-mantra designs.
