Krishna is Gopala, the keeper of cows, and the Bhagavatam spends more time on him in the pastures than anywhere else: a boy walking home at dusk behind the herd, a calf in his arms, his flute at his mouth and the dust of Vrindavan rising around him. This scene comes back more often than any other in the shop, and it remains the most loved artwork here.
This is the Krishna with a Calf artwork on a tote bag. A cotton canvas tote with long shoulder handles and a roomy main compartment, big enough for books, prasadam and a japa bag. Printed to order. Machine wash cold and hang to dry.
