Krishna is Gopala, the keeper of cows, and the Bhagavatam spends more time on him in the pastures than anywhere else: a boy walking home at dusk behind the herd, a calf in his arms, his flute at his mouth and the dust of Vrindavan rising around him. This scene comes back more often than any other in the shop, and it remains the most loved artwork here.
This is the Krishna in the Grass artwork on a gallery-wrapped canvas. Printed on cotton canvas and stretched over a 1.25″ wooden frame, with the image wrapping around the sides, so it arrives ready to hang with no extra framing needed. Several sizes on this page. Made to order. Dust with a dry soft cloth and keep out of direct sunlight.
