Lord Jagannath, the Lord of the Universe, stands in his temple in Puri with his brother Baladev and his sister Subhadra, carved in wood with round eyes and no hands, and once a year he leaves the temple and rides through the city on a chariot pulled by the crowd. Ratha Yatra has been held in Puri for over a thousand years; since Srila Prabhupada’s first festival in San Francisco in 1967 it has been held in a few hundred cities worldwide, and it is the day most non-devotees first meet the tradition.
Jagannath’s form is instantly recognisable, which makes it the most wearable design in the shop. The collection includes the three deities together, Jagannath alone, the Jagannath chakra used on embroidered caps, and the Ratha Yatra scenes. Products: t-shirts and tie-dye tees, hoodies for adults and children, snapbacks, bucket hats and beanies, japa bags, tote and weekender bags, backpacks, canvas and framed art, puzzles, journals, dolls, ornaments, laptop sleeves, phone cases, stickers and pin badges.
