Between one creation and the next, Mahavishnu lies on the serpent Ananta Shesha in the causal ocean, and universes come and go from his breathing. It is the most cosmic image in the Vedic literature and also the calmest: the source of everything, asleep.
This is the Lord Vishnu on Ananta Shesha artwork on a japa bead bag. The bag is sewn from printed cotton with a separate finger pocket, a neck strap and a drawstring closure, in the small size, about 23 cm, which fits a standard tulasi mala comfortably. Unlike our print-on-demand items, japa bags are stitched in small batches and ship from our own stock. Hand wash cool and air-dry, keeping the beads out of the water.
