In 1965 A. C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada boarded a cargo ship in Calcutta at sixty-nine years old with forty rupees and a trunk of books, survived two heart attacks at sea, and started chanting under a tree in a New York park. The portraits of him are among the most carefully worked pieces in this shop.
This is the Srila Prabhupada on the Jaladuta artwork on a jigsaw puzzle. A jigsaw puzzle in a printed box, with piece counts from 120 for children up to 252, 500 and 1000 for people who take it seriously. The pieces are sturdy card with a matte finish that does not reflect lamplight. Made to order. A good Ekadashi evening, and a good way to look at a painting properly.
