The holy name in the visual language of the street: graffiti letterforms, pop-art blocks, subway tiles. The maha-mantra has been treated this way here since long before it was fashionable, and the result sits equally well on a devotee and on someone who simply likes the lettering.
This is the Hare Krishna Pop Art artwork on a japa bead bag. The bag is sewn from printed cotton with a separate finger pocket, a neck strap and a drawstring closure, in the large size, about 31 cm, for big neem malas or for chanting with the whole hand inside the bag. Japa bags are stitched in small batches and ship from our own stock. Hand wash cool and air-dry.
