The holy name in the visual language of the street: graffiti letterforms, pop-art blocks, subway tiles. The maha-mantra has been treated this way here since long before it was fashionable, and the result sits equally well on a devotee and on someone who simply likes the lettering.
This is the Hare Krishna Pop Art artwork on a japa bead bag. Choose small, about 23 cm, for a standard tulasi mala, or medium, about 27 cm, for neem beads or a mala with a large head bead. Each bag is sewn from printed cotton with a separate finger pocket, a neck strap and a drawstring closure, stitched in small batches and shipped from our own stock. Hand wash cool and air-dry.
