Sankirtana is the congregational chant: a group of people singing the holy name in public, which is either the simplest thing in the world or the bravest, depending on the day. This artwork comes from the long series of street kirtan pieces in the shop.
This is the Sankirtana Lila (Yellow Strap) artwork on a japa bead bag. The bag is sewn from printed cotton with a separate finger pocket, a neck strap and a drawstring closure, in the large size, about 31 cm, for big neem malas or for chanting with the whole hand inside the bag. Japa bags are stitched in small batches and ship from our own stock. Hand wash cool and air-dry.
